An Employment Journey in Progress

Ben is an 19 year old Broome man seeking to find his way in the world of work. In the picture above Ben is working alongside Support Worker (—) from Far North Community Services. Under his NDIS plan with support from Far North’s Ben secured a placement as a Volunteer Grounds person at Broome’s Habitat Resort.

Ben aspires to be a professional Grounds Person and is making the most of this opportunity to build his knowledge and skills. More than that, with mentoring and coaching from Kimberley Personnel’s Ray Eaton, Ben is learning to demonstrate what a great investment he will be to his employer in the hope of securing a Traineeship or an Apprenticeship at the resort.
