Inclusive Employment Australia services (IEA)

Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program services are funded by the Federal Government Department of Social Services to provide Specialized Employment Services to people affected by illness, injury or disability. If you have a Centrelink Reference Number that will help us find you in the Governments Computer system; having said that you don’t have to be a Centrelink customer to access the IEA program so please do contact us regardless.

Return to work with tailored support for as long as you need it

Where an illness, injury or disability might make it hard to find or keep a job without a bit more help over the longer term the Inclusive Employment Australia | Department of Social Services is here for you. It might be as simple as you want to work but don’t know where to start. You might be anxious, or you might be as keen as can be. Whatever your circumstances we have time to work with you as an individual in the IEA program. We can use that time to help you overcome any barriers you face and into employment. In the IEA program you can continue accessing our support for as long as you need it.

Return to work support for your employer if you agree that may be helpful

When affected by illness, injury or disability it is sometimes helpful to have an understanding and discrete professional help your employer understand your needs at work. Our goal is help to realise and achieve your employment? If this sounds like something you think might be helpful, please do let us know when you contact us. Alternatively of course you might prefer we are not discussing certain things or even anything with an employer, at Kimberley Personnel the choice regarding disclosure, any exchange of your personnel information belongs to you at all times.

Your Eligibility

You may need to be assessed by an Employment Service Assessment (ESAT) to confirm your IEA eligibility. You may also need a letter of support from your Doctor. We can help guide you through this process. The ESAT takes about 20 minutes of your time and one of our staff can usually attend with you if you have any concerns. In short though, if you are a Disability Support Pension recipient, have an NDIS plan, you are almost certain to be eligible for IEA. However, even if you are in receipt of a different Centrelink payment, or even not receiving a Centrelink payment at all, but have a disability, injury or health condition that is impacting you, you are very likely to be eligible.

Our Services

You can receive a range of specialist help that is tailored to meet your needs and aspirations. Help can include, career guidance, getting ready to apply for work, building your skills, helping you identify and overcome any barriers to employment, finding the right pathway to employment for you. We will help you apply for jobs, including knocking on the doors of employers on your behalf (if you would like that) and we will provide at whatever level you require it to support you to be successful at work.
